Denied a paternity leave by BCCI ? Sunil Gavaskar says 'he was committed to playing for India', never asked for leave in 1975/76

Following India skipper Virat Kohli being granted a paternity leave by the BCCI, several reports started doing the rounds that the legendary Sunil Gavaskar had in fact, been denied a paternity leave way back in 1975/76.
